Abby Anne entered this world in Midland Texas on November 6, 1998.
Her family had moved to the Sherman Texas area recently. Her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the youngest sister remained behind in Midland to await her impending birth.
She was born into the loving arms of her Mother and Grandmother at Midland Memorial Hospital. Her mother had been out and about enjoying the day and didn't even realize she was in labor. She made it to the OBs office just in time to find out she was barely going to make it to the hospital to deliver.
Her father and older siblings arrived that evening to meet the most beautiful baby girl in the world.
Passed away on August 14, 2002 at the age of 3.
Our sweet angel became ill on Tuesday morning August 13, 2002. She did not seem to have anything more than a mild stomach virus. She was wearing her Blue's Clues Pajamas and enjoying her cartoons.
Her condition rapidly deteriorated that evening. Despite being rushed to multiple different hospitals and undergoing multiple tests the Doctors could not figure out what was wrong with her.
She passed away Wednesday August 14 at Texoma Medical Center in Dension Texas. She passed just before the life-flight to take her to Children's Medical Center in Dallas Texas would arrive.
Our Angel was taken from us by a condition called Meckel's Diverticulum. This condition effects 3% of the population and is a congenital defect of the intestines.
